Grandmaster David A. Ross

David A. Ross began training in the Martial Arts in early 1980 and come the mid 1980's was training in Shaolin Kempo Karate with Bob Meserve's Health & Self Defense Inc. By the late 1980's he was teaching for Bob Meserve's Health & Self Defense Inc; later joining the Board of Directors and eventually becoming Vice President of the organization. Looking to expand within the Martial Arts, Sensei Ross began training with the International Combat Hapkido Federation under Grandmaster John Pellegrini in the late 1990's.
Sensei Ross formed Dynamic Defense Concepts, LLC in the year 2000; continuing his Kempo training with Master Mike Higgins of White Dragon Martial Arts and chartering his Dojo to teach Combat Hapkido, becoming the NH State Director for the International Combat Hapkido Federation. Sensei Ross was promoted to 5th Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate by Master Mike Higgins in May of 2003 and awarded the title of Master. In May of 2021 Grandmaster John Pellegrini promoted Senior Master Ross to 8th Degree Black Belt in Combat Hapkido and awarded him the title of Grandmaster. In addition to training in the Martial Arts David A. Ross has also: Served in the USAR from 1983 until 1995, completing his service with an honorable discharge. Received extensive training under G4S Secure Solutions USA - Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant Security in the following areas: NH Use of Force, Weapons Training, Combat Shooting, conflict intervention, aggressive behavior recognition and diffusion. Acted in the capacity of Security / Security Consultant from 1996 through the present for a Night Club in Concord NH. Worked in the Asset Protection field since 2013 with ACT Protective Services; currently working in the field as well as holding a Training Instructor position for "Women's Self Defense" and "Empty Hand Use of Force" |
