This is a personal protection protection program designed to teach women how to defend themselves against sexual harassment or basic assault situations. The program is comprised of elements from the SHARP (Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention) course from PPCT Management Systems, the International Police Defensive Tactics Institute, Combat Hapkido and Kempo Karate. Established in 1980, PPCT is an internationally recognized authority on use-of-force best known for designing training systems for criminal justice agencies, the military and the private sector based on documented tactical, legal and medical research. The International Police Defensive Tactics Institute (IPDTI) was formed in 1997 by Grandmaster Pellegrini who, during his 20 years in the Law Enforcement field and 40 years of Martial Arts experience, has been a strong advocate of consistent, competent and intensive defensive tactics training for the Law Enforcement community. Today the IPDTI is recognized as one of the most professional and respected Law Enforcement training organizations in the world today. This course has been specifically designed for situations when control and assault prevention methods are required; employing principles and strategies for effectively reducing the likelihood of assault through techniques for countering attacks and strategies of avoidance. This program is open to any teen / adult female at any time during the training period. * Ground Survival The Combat Hapkido Ground Survival program is a multi -level course of instruction in the science of ground fighting. It is not about "wrestling" or "ground grappling". It is about successfully fighting back an attack while in the most dangerous position in self-defense; escaping and quickly recovering the safer, dominant standing position. This course is an excellent component of the Combat Hapkido training program but can also be taught as a stand alone course through clinics and / or seminars. * Pressure Points This course integrates the scientific, knowledgeable and wise use of pressure points with Combat Hapkido techniques. It not only reflects and recognizes our roots in the traditional Korean art but, on a practical level, facilitates the application and enhances the effectiveness of all Combat Hapkido techniques. This course is an excellent component of the Combat Hapkido training program but can also be taught as a stand alone course through clinics and / or seminars. |

* PPCT Spontaneous Knife Defense
This is one of the most respected training programs in the world, heavily emphasizing knife awareness principles. The PPCT system is a mandatory part of Law Enforcement and Security training in many states. The PPCT Spontaneous Knife Defense Program includes:
* Night Club Security This is a three phase course, each phase taught in a seminar format. The full course will cover all aspects of conflict, diffusion, intervention and control of situations to include: - Un-aggressive stance options that limit you as a target for attack - Multiple security personnel dealing with an aggressive patron - Dealing with patrons engaged in a physical altercation - Understanding the important distinction between Police Tactics and night club security - Distraction and controlling techniques to allow time for Law Enforcement to arrive - Dealing with the threat of weapons and basic defense against those weapons - Dealing with someone with overwhelming strength - Controlling techniques for combative patrons - Escorting techniques to maintain control of patrons while removing them from the establishment These situations, if improperly handled, could result in a lawsuit or even force the closure of the night club. Considering the thousands of dollars just one lawsuit could cost, training your personnel to respond safely and appropriately to difficult situations is not only good customer relations, but a wise cost-effective decision as well. * Dynamic Defense Concepts for E.M.S. Applications This is a one day course covering universal concepts and principles of non-deadly force techniques to control resisting and violent subjects while developing a solid understanding of basic self protection concepts.
